Which parts of this website are not fully accessible?
ZEW is continuously working on improving accessibility on its websites and is successively implementing further measures to remove barriers.
The media design team at ZEW is developing a concept for gradually making the PDFs barrier-free and is successively implementing this concept. New publications are created according to accessibility criteria as far as possible.
Illustrations and controls
- For informative as well as linked illustrations and control elements, meaningful text alternatives or labels are not always available.
- Keyboard focus is not clearly visible on buttons and linked images.
Keyboard operability is not yet available for accordion elements.
Registration form, Newslettr form
The forms currently do not provide appropriate notices when incorrect entries are made and do not set the keyboard focus to the appropriate fields or notices.
Form report barrier
Report barrier form: The "Please describe the barrier" field is not yet accessible.
The plugin news is currently not yet completely accessible in keyboard usability and readability.
The PDF documents embedded on the page are for the most part not accessible without barriers.
A sensible headline hierarchy is not consistently adhered to on all web pages, especially when boxes or news are included on the page.
- With HTML links, the link targets are not always apparent from the link texts.
- File links do not always contain all the information required for accessibility.
